The Gods Must Be Bored

The gods are bored. They've all memorised every possible opening in chess. Endgames of weiqi are a tedium. And, worst of all, the god of sofa cracks has lost the dice so no-one can play snakes and ladders. Thus, they've turned to poker…or at least a version of it.

In TGMBB, you play as your own self-made deity. You'll use hands from poker to influence the world or individuals. The goal of the game is whatever your god wishes it to be; it all depends on what your group decides as a subject.

Made as part of the 2022 One-Page RPG Jam. The only things required to play are the rules and a deck of cards.
